From Snow to Sun Collection (January - May 2023)
"From Snow to Sun" is a series of abstract paintings that chronicles my journey this year from winter through late spring. It begins with "Snowy Owl," a white and neutral drip painting, reflecting the serene stillness of a New England winter. Inspired by a Caribbean trip, the series takes a vibrant turn with the teal-colored composition, "Caribbean Haze" followed by a few other island-inspired pieces. "Easter Basket," featuring a yellow background with green drips, represents the joyous arrival of spring, while the final painting, "Dream," welcomes the coming summer weather with its sunny yellows and crisp whites.
